-added a "splash window" when starting the client (after checking for updated, before the game itself opens)
-some things behind the scenes have been slightly modified to increase performance. Namely, card inventory should open much quicker now, among other things
-card texts have been completely updated. I tried to make them all as uniform as possible, using the same wording, phrases, etc. Some changes include:
-repeated term: "hostile"
-repeated terms: "mechanical unit" (anything but Inf), "ground vehicle", and "aircraft" (no more "ground mechanical unit" or "air unit")
-removed the redundant uses of the word "unit" (ex. "place one infantry unit")
-using "one" in place of "a" almost always
-many cards now have more details (ex. mercenaries, heroes, transports, land mines, etc)
-fixed typos
-various other updates to make cards more uniform and easily comprehensible for new players
Also, this is not an implemented update, but i posted a
thread on rearranging the order of cards in each category and really need some feedback on that. Please take a minute to check it out and let us know what you think!
