1) run in windowed mode? (Whenever I run full screen and have to toggle to another screen, BattleDex uses 50% of one CPU core and will occasionally lock up the machine or crash)
2) change the resolution of the map? (I'd like to be able to zoom out to see a larger section of the map during certain widely spaced turns.)
Please bear with an old fart if these questions are answered elsewhere in the forum. I DID attempt to look for them before posting.

GreaseSpot, there's a Help screen in-game with the shortcut keys.. it's at the bottom menu near Submit, Surrender, Exit, etc. when you're playing a match.
There's also the How to Play section on the site that explains them, but at the moment it's a big block of text. In future builds we'll have a minimize/fullscreen button in the upper right corner.
Also, scroll the mouse wheel to zoom in/out on the map if you don't want to use PgUp/PgDn. Hope you're enjoying the game!

I like the game so far, but I've only played the training map so I have yet to get my butt handed to me by a real live human. My playing time is pretty limited so it would be really good for me if future releases included a better standalone mode with good AI. Don't know how difficult (or potentially profitable) that would be, but it sure would be nice.
So was this written ENTIRELY by GameCamp alums?

We currently have 3 single player modes (Boot Camp, Target Practice, and Training Missions)... for now we have one training mission with simple AI, and we plan to have 5-10 missions in very soon. The game is being developed not by GameCamp alums, but industry vets with past experience at studios such as Vigil Games, Realm Interactive, Yatec Games, and NCsoft. But we do have some GameCamp alums playing and giving us feedback every day!

How does the AI work a deck? are there certain pre-set decks it can work from? random determination if it favors defensive, offensive, air, ground strategies?
If there's no deck fro the AI, how do you make it a reasonable challenge, given the low cost fo deck enlist units, not to mention buff cards, heals, tech, armored, lethal....

The AI currently does not have access to a deck, though the difficulty will ramp up significantly throughout the missions. In the future, the AI will be able to play cards, I'm sure. Any suggestions for how it could work at a high level? Any strategies you'd like to be able to practice against in particular?
