Ok, since Chrism wants some changes and I also think its good I will change to league 2-4 groups and everybody plays all inside, just like world championship I will think a little and will edit later

ok we have 3 options, I would liek Chrism to say which one he prefers :
1.) League : everybody plays everybody victory 1 point loss 0
2.) 4 groups of 4 players, each player plays all players inside the same group, best 2 of each advances for single elimination
3.) League : everybody plays everybody victory 1 point loss 0, final between 4 best players, best of 3 and 5 for final

I think you should split the group into 2 divisions. Top 6 in each division make it to a playoff. Top 2 seeds get byes. 3v6 and 6v3 and 4v5 and 5v4 is first round. Then top seads play lowest seeds or something like that. Playoffs could be 2/3/.
You could have everyone play everyone once.
Or, eveyrone play everyone in division twice and everyone else once.
Or everyone just play everyone in division once.
That would be my suggestion.
