Why is it everytime i start up Battledex it starts downloading this patch but there is no mention of it in the patch notes. This has been happening for the past few days.

I have clicked the launcher and it still downloads the 405 - 407 patch

happened 2 me in the last patch b4. Try maually uninstalling it, then download. I think if u have the shortcut on your computer, the cut is for the previous patch, so u have to get rid o dat 2. (take this w/ a grain of salt, but i did something similar and it worked)

it downloads whole game every time i start the game. It started recently, probably because i have it installed twice. I will try to unistall it from everywhere and hope it will stop  . Its good that it is such small game.

Just double-checked -- I don't have this problem either. But to answer HighVibes (I think a lot of us are thinking the same thing) BattleDex is dying, if not already dead. There have been TONS of things mentioned to be added/fixed, and I have even made 2 or 3 lists of 100+ things EACH. They are all ignored and instead nothing happens for months at a time. I understand that the devs have jobs more important than BattleDex, but you can't expect something to be successful if you don't give it enough attention, and I believe that's the problem As for me: I suck, always lose to familiar faces, and that just gets old real quick

The game is good enough as it is, even if it needs fixes. It just needs to catch on.
I always said that this game needed a facebook front end, as well.
- The game catching on or not does not depend on the fixes ...

i gotta disagree with ya, Geral. When everyone i show the game to doesn't even consider the game because of little, stupid things (like my friend opening 10 Options menu's on top of each other then never playing again) i think that speaks loudly on the future of this game
