I've previously owned both of these cards and i'm trying to decide which is better.


well lets look at the facts

Airborne Ranger and Special forces both give the same exact speed,vision,range,etc buffs
Airborne Ranger has the added power of Airbourne

Airborne Ranger is145G
Special Forces is 60G



well.... lets do some adding and subtracting now.

60G + airborne's price = 150 ,5 gold difference
Does this mean Airborne Ranger is just a discount Airborned Special Forces?



Lets look at it another way.
Enlist Infantry 35G + 60 = 95G minus the extra airbourne This way ur saving alot more gold and u have the same great Buffs


So that means.....
Which is better Saving gold for alot of buffs or Spending More For the Extra Movement to where u need?

I really have no idea which is better so...........argue it amongst yourselves I rule this as a draw.

Your comparison is wrong, its not just 5 gold cheaper than airborne + special forces, its 5 gold and 1 card.

Also these card have entirely different function, why compare them. I dont see anyone doing airborne + special forces. Special forces is there to be used in first round.

Saving a card slot is a value on its own,and its worth is decided by how much u think saving a card slot is.
Also Why NOT Compare them, they both have similar buffs, And is it such a crime to airborne A Special Forces, in some maps airborning a special forces gives u a advantage.

both give a super infantry unit, one from starting hex, other from out of nowhere.

Some maps, the airborne part is worth it (where the res are in short supply and far away) some maps, the added gold cost is not worth it in my opinion.

still, airborne can save the day when its CP you are fighting for and the starting, movement speed inf are all gone, so bringing an inf to a CP takes to long, there, airborne can save the day.

biggest difference in my opinion is, airborne is a card you keep behind for a bit, to use where needed, special forces is a card played round 1 or 2 most often
