What about debuff cards other than pacification and immobilization? "Jamming", temporarily reduces Air unit visibility to adjacent only....Smokescreen, same for ground units....Ammo Jam, reduces rate of fire for a few turns.....Weak Spot, permanent armor reduction....damaged barrel, permanent range reduction...

I had not perused all the possible cards, only knew my inventory at the time I started this. I think a damage debuff and armor debuff would be viable...temporary and permanent version, depending on the severity of the debuff....15% perm, 50% temp (lasting for 2 turns). And a Misfire, where for 2 turns range is reduced to one. Not vision, but range.

Misfire sounds like a Pacify card that lasts 2 turns, correct?

Remember, save some ideas for the contest next week :)

PAcify is NO shooting for 2..so make misfire a 1-hex range (granted, effectively Pacifies artillery...so maybe cut range in half, rather)..so make Misfire 3 turns...

Pacify cards last one turn currently, and Immobilize cards last two.

I really like how this game is in beta because people can really get involved with the development of the game.... Card contest is awesome idea.

There's going to be a card contest? I can't wait! I've been making card games from scratch for years. I've actually made a war-based trading card game, so I have lots of stuff to look through.
