Does elevation affect damage at all? I noticed that certain units are inhibited by high elevations

Great question. Nope, elevation does not affect damage; only vision.
The only units that can move up 1 hex are Recon, Truck Transport, and Infantry.

This reminds me of final fantasy tactics but it would be cool to see elevation changes and units being at advantages or disadvantages... Such as more power and harder to hit less dam for infantry at high elevations this would make a whole new twist to the game... Plus I kinda feel that infantry are a bit underpowered... Also u could have certain units unaffected by elevation eg fighter.... Just FFT

Infantry isnt a damage dealer. Its based on caping stuff only thing they should be buffed on is Armor, nothing else is needed or health. As far as damage is concered there are multiple cards to choose from to buff them http://battledexgame.com/cards.php?cate ... ory=damage see the list there.

I think elevation needs to be worked into the game. Since only recon and infantry can go up in elevation, they should get a slight damage increase, like 25%, which adds a strategic element to these 2 units.

Elevation should also increase vision some may bey 1/2 hex for each Level up.
As you get a better view.
Can you Airlift a unit on to a hill, even if if it can not get there on its own. If not mayube add a Combat Eng Card Allows a unit to climb hills for 2 turns.
