I just played this map (sealed vs a new player) for the first time and i like it. Spacing is well-thought out for caps and it gives multiple options (top, bottom, and/or middle). The only complaint i have is that once someone gets a little ahead it's really hard to catch up. Since all of the resources are far away, if someone gets 2 turns ahead of you (which isn't that much) then it's hard to cap any resources unless they are completely ignoring one of the 3 sections. Either make one of the resources closer, or replace one with one next to the base. Don't just add one because then the map would be too small (the "size to units" size of the map is almost perfect as-is)

Living goes by fast, catch your breath and it'll pass you by. And it won't last to sulk in the memories you hold.
