You should add a third option: "Yes, in a new game type"

i am against removing them just change the positions a bit so thats it is no longer possible to protect them with 10000000000 artilleries and dont have to move out of your base

NO! otherwise the games would last endless! but they should change positions so they arent as easy to cover with a few artillerys. had a hard time in semifinal against jojo he took 2 cp and then covered everything with arts. and 25 is a bit insufficient on some maps imo.

if they removed CP's the game would still have a turn limit. THe winner would be decided by most resources collected. So the difference would be instead of holding cp's you would hav eto hold resources to win. They could also lower the turns to 25 in this case to make the games go a little faster.

To the people above, this is how the game determines who win at the end of the 30th turn:
1. By Victory Points, whoever has the most wins.
2. If there is a tie, it's counted by INCOME.
3. If there is a tie, it's then counted by KILLS.
Removing control points just removes #1, we still have #2, which is a very good judgement of what's going on in the game anyways.
