 Post subject: Smaller map...

I forget the name of the map, but it's the ice map with the 2 turret things that dont do anything. 2 CP's on each side. Anyways, it's WAYYY too big. It shouldnt take 5 turns to get defense if you get assaulted. Please PLEASE move each base in 2-3 hex rows in (4 or 6 total, not 2 or 3)

I think it is named something like Hex6 or something crazy. I agree WAY TO BIG.

i dont like wide maps in general. they require such a huge amount of units to defend it and e.g. epic is so ...argh biig that even a range buffed artillery is useless. i always dont know what to buy on those maps since you can either send a few troops to every resource which would mean that you lose in certain parts of the map which leads to defeat or you can focus on a few resources, defend them and try to get the other later which limits you in your area of domination so to speak...i like maps like battleground etc where its possible to buy units for every resource that you "should" own to defend it properly

epic goes with me because there is nothing blocking ur LOS at least. because if you have such a huge map, you are required not to sneak around with something and if u have los blockers, youre pretty screwed.
also these maps require airlifts in huge amounts opening a nice playstyle if u manage to use it in a good way.
but anyway, id use that map as a two player map, place the 2nd place next to the first one and give the new one an "Own" ressource, then it would be a good map.
