Im new to battledex and i was just wanting to introduce myself. Ive been playing for a week or so and have only played two ranked but lots of private matches. this is my first turn based online multiplayer thingy and im for sure going to stick here for a while. I have two other friends who also play one is etuxer and im not sure what the other has for his gamertag. I also have another friend who is interested but no promises as far as playing regularly goes.

My gaming history is kinda wide. I have a strong foundation in RTS games (command and conquer, Age of Empires, Star&WarCraft, WH40k, ect...) so i might do well in this game *fingers crossed*. The cards thing is new but the concept is easy to understand, makes things more interesting

I have some questions:

1) is it possible to get decks by achieving a higher rank or do you have to go into tournaments?

2) where can i buy packs at? button for it ingame doesnt work and cant seem to find it on the site.

3) is time shown for a tournament the actual time in my time(US/Central) or a different time and everyone sees the same time all the time?

By decks do you mean cards? You make decks out of cards that you recieve in packs. You get packs by posting your introduction (as you did right here!), winning sit n go tournaments (any 4 players can play at any time), and placing within the top 3 or 4 places in a tournament


Right now, you can't buy packs. But there are a LOT more opportunites to get cards right now than there will be after beta. For example, in sealed tournaments, you get to keep the 3 packs that are given to you


If you go to Account (top right of the screen), then click on Settings, there is a drop-down menu where you can put what time zone you are in and the game will automatically change the times to your time zone

Right now you can't buy packs -- we are still in Beta.

The only way to get packs is playing in tournaments or posting on the forums and introducing yourself. I will send you some now.

The tournament players are all very good since they have been playing for a while. Don't get discouraged if you get beat the first few times. Try playing the sealed tournaments that give you 3 free packs just for playing. Also, Random Teams is a good way to get better. Listen to your partner if you are new.

Tournaments are in Central Time on the website but in your timezone time in the game client.
