Everyone who hasn't played above games should do so IMMEDIATELY. Those are the greatest pieces of software ever coded!

I played BG&BG2 with the BGTrilogy mod (it combines both games without adding all this bonus stuff - I kinda like the original feel). If I find the time - and I will - I'll install the "weidu tactis mod" (http://www.weidu.org/tactics.html) and beat BG for the 12324th time, this time with even more insane challenge

You should also add Icewind Dale i & II to that list, though I don't know of any mods.

IWD is like BG, but more linear, more battles and more dungeons. BG on the other hand is more story driven. I like both of them - try IWD in "heart of fury mode"

I tried arcanum once, but it was too late after it came out and it was too outdated.

I have finished rest of them more than once, I am playing Icewind dale now . Planscape suffered from interface (made for consoles) , it would be much better with standart bg interface.
