I've been playing BioShock 2 almost daily for the past two weeks (when I'm not playing Battle Dex, of course) and I have to say I'm impressed. Not as amazing story-wise compared to the first one, but the action is vastly improved and the new Tonics are pretty sweet. I give it an 8/10.
Can't say I'm blown away by the multiplayer so far, but I'm told it doesn't get really good until you hit level 15 or so -- I guess that's when the decent Plasmids show up.
Anyone else playing this? How does it compare to the first one for you?

On paper, Bioshock 2 is a vastly improved game. Where it comes short is the narrative, which can't be duplicated by just manufacturing a sequel in 18 months. The opening sequence of the first game is so unforgettable, it's a tough act to follow. I'm more interested to see what Ken Levine and the rest of Irrational are working on.
