I'm not a huge metal fan though i do like it a lot. They just kinda.. made their own entire GENRE of music that i really like. As a whole, the music just seems... fuller. Like there's more there. If this makes sense, it's like almost all the bands ive heard are a primary color, but they're a secondary. They just have somethin that goes with it that I love. Plus Jimmy 'The Rev' Sullivan was/remains to be my favorite drummer of all time

My fav band should be Metallica.
They were playing at Rock Am Ring 2008 and my father said "you gotta watch them" but I just watched the first few minutes of their intro and "Creeping Death" but it was kinda too heavy for me (I listened to System of a Down at that time). But half a year later I was the biggest fan on earth and the performances have been kick ass so I was pissed off that I didn't watch the entire gig.
I know that some people will think they're boring or just think the vocalist has a terrible voice but if you listen closely you will know why I like them

the song is from the album "Ride the Lightning" but beware there the singing voice is very ...different xD because the singer was like ~20 years old (on that gig he was around 45)
