Ment for a life saving card but saving your tail is expensive =D

disclaimer: Xlom, I haven't read your camo post, so I apologize in advance if I post what you might already have done.

Card title: Defilade (or Hunker Down)
Duration: until unit moves
Rarity: uncommon
Description: for the serious defender. +200% defense against attacking ground units and +100% defense against attacking air.

This could be used in conjunction with:

Card title: Camo Net
Duration: until unit moves
Rarity: uncommon
Description: provides camoflage for stationary ground units, reducing visibility to enemy units including all types of air (should Predators, etc, be created)

(note: if you need to see what either of these look like, plenty of good examples in most any World War II movie involving armor.)

here's one I'd certainly like to see.

Card title: 8th Air Force (or Heavy Metal)
Duration: one mission (to target and back, after which unit and card is gone for that game)
Rarity: rare or ultra rare
Descr: "The 8th Air Force is bringing the heavy iron! Duck and cover, boys. It's gonna be a blast."

flight of three bombers (B-17s since the fighters look like P-47s) flies designated course (not necessarily straight line) to one designated hex and back. Along the way, fighters and AA can damage them (give them a reasonable HP). If they make it to target, they drop massive bombload that does really serious damage to the target hex and all adjoining hexes. Two hexes out gets 50% damage, three hexes out gets 25% damage. If one bomber gets taken out by fighters or AA, the total damage inflicted by bomb drop is reduced by 33%, two bombers lost then damage reduces by 67%

Descr: The infantry unit dons enemy gear and is able to move without being detected by the enemy (Invisible to the enemy). The unit cannot fire or capture territory while in disguise. (In other words it is an undetectable unit for scouting purposes.) At the end of 2 turns the unit is presumed captured and swallows a tiny blue pill, destroying itself.


Card title: Smoke 'Em If You Got 'Em
Duration: 1 turn
Rarity: Uncommon
Descr: Smokes a (roughly) circular area (7 hexes?). Units in the smoke cannot fire and they cannot be fired upon.

Descr: Turns a jet into a suicide bomber. The jet may not fire, but when it hits a target, it explodes doing damage in the amount of how much life it has left. May hit air or land.


Card title: Mortar Team
Duration: Permanent
Rarity: Ultra Rare
Descr: Turns a soldier into a mortar team that does double damage to any unit in a building.


Card title: Sniper
Duration: Permanent
Rarity: Ultra Rare
Descr: Changes a soldier into a sniper. Movement is reduced to 1 hex, unit gets camo, range is increased, and power vs soldiers (any type) and helicopters is tripled.
