So my first tournament, and my first win! Unfortunately marred a little.. but we'll get there.
First round was against Sebjokai, who ejected my fighter on turn 3, I think. He later acknowledged that he understood why that was illegal, and surrendered. Apparently this isn't the first time he did this, and Cooldown has mentioned banning him from tournaments. I wonder if he really just didn't understand, I don't know.
Next came a series of very hard fights, against (might have the order wrong) breathoffire2, TheCrazyMan, Bubbles, and jojo. All these games could have gone either way, and I enjoyed them greatly. A game like this is only as good as the players, and you guys were awesome.
The final was to be against DoomShroom, who was afk for the whole thing and forfeited in 2 turns. This was a bit of a shame, I was all geared up to play for the top spot, and then... well. I really can't complain.
Rather than list all my sealed cards, I'm just gonna mention a few key pulls that helped.
Enlist Inf
Enlist Fighter
Enlist Inf + Recce
Enlist Heli + AA
Merc Light (Also had a Merc Heavy, rarely played it)
Immobilize Ground
Pacify Ground (I landed this on a lethal AA that was gunning for my ~30hp Legendary Helo, and owned it)
Blind Air
Armored Transport
And the key card that really made the difference:
Airborne2
With the Enlist Fighter, it made for a very strong start.
I also seemed to have gotten 3x lethal AA, and never played a one.

Thanks for the compliment ^^ As for the last remark tho, there is a debate on if sealed is all skill or all luck. I personally think its a little of both. Good game man, i look forward to rematches!

Anyone else find it kind of weird that a person who was AFK for every single match still made it to the finals?

Not really complaining.
I'm just saying that this is another argument for a checkin system.

Also, I'm sure he wasn't AFK for every match. He must have had to go somewhere since the tournament went long.
