So.. am i alone in wanting 3man FFA tourneys? I personally despise 4man ffa, but 3man kicks A$$! So.. can we start having 4man FFA tourneys and 3man FFA tourneys please?

Also, will we be seeing FFA sit n go any time soon?

EDIT: added a poll :D I won't vote

FFA tournaments were originally all 3-player games, which you may recall. We might be up for setting the FFAs to varying max players per game settings -- plus chrism has a 5-player FFA map waiting to be implemented. :o Should be cool!

oh god! 5man would be AWFUL! I'm sure some people will like it, but I personally don't want to play a game with more than 3 people in it, unless it's a team game. Even 3v3 and 4v4 seem like they could be way too big.

One thing that'll be a huge challenge is making 4v4 maps that aren't too big, considering the units' movement amounts are set for maps like.. oasis. Smaller 1v1 maps. When it takes 10 turns to get an infantry to REACH the middle, not to mention cap.... yeah..

I´ll go with "Let´s have´em all 3man".

I don´t have problems with map size (in fact, the larger the better for me), but with the fact that with more than 3 players, there is always at least one player with who you cannot interact too much (in a 4man, that would be the one in the opposite corner), unless it´s a fight in the middle.

The only problem I see is the amount of byes per tournament rouind; having 3- and 4-man maps allow to fit any number of players that is not 2 or 5.

If 2 players team up on you in 3 player match you have no chance.

$ and 6 Man in Team play is good.

In FFA I think 3 should be about it.

Also we need more maps, that Triangle one where one person starts 3 or 4 hexs farther out from the 4th cp is harsh.

Also that map in sealed normally goes to the one with airlift

The Team Games should take over 4 Person games.

IMHO

True

Bubbles Played a good game, I had Decided to place my forces against Pan, and tried to take his resoursce near his HQ.

Did have a great mid game battle with Bubs on the Left side though, used My INF swarm.

But FFA is about teaming the leader, while finding a way to win yourself.

Some folks get mad when a Person is in the lead but others are attacking them, this happens for many reasons, mainly our units will shoot at what they see.

Also remember they can not see what you see, and are making guesses as well.

It is one of the reasons I would like a Priority Fire Type Selection.

To Say If there is an INF in range shoot it first, and such.
