I want to see an option to FOLLOW a unit (accessed by right-clicking, just like persue is accessed). That way you could still persue a unit but not be forced to fire first at it. Here are a few example situations:
1. Your recon is is near 2 infs, 1 that will die in 1 turn. If they turn opposite ways, you may not kill both in 1 turn, normally.
well.. actually i'm pretty brain-dead at the moment, but there have been plenty of times that i wouldve loved to have that option. All in favor? All opposed?

I mean who would NOT want to have an optional feature? It's just that I don't really see this as a "must-have" feature. There are plenty of other ideas that would improve the game by much more imo. But why not just make both pursue and priority target usable? this would work, wouldn't it?

yes it would. And since Persue is already implemented, it seems like you could almost just copy and paste the programming for that and rename it Follow, then take out the priority target part of the coding. Maybe i'm way off though
