Make the time per turn on coops AT LEAST something like:
easy - usual
medium - 3min
hard - 4min
insane - 5min

Especially on the large maps where an airlift 3 from one edge of the map to another (e.g. Tower Defense) can take up more than minute due to scrolling. If you misplace one unit you usually dont have time to redo it. And then you have neither moved your units nor watched the turn replay. There pretty much is no use of the timer in coops but to increase difficulty and most missions are hard enough already even with an infinite timer.

And pleeeease make it possible to choose starting positions. It ususally takes 2-5mins per game to just resart until you get the right starting positions, which is essential on the insane ones because you can't learn all the positions.

Im pushing for a you set the time limit in private coops like you do in private games. Thoughts?

yeah, but it wouldnt matter as everyone would just put 3h which is like endless :)

I think any game that does not have a player on 2+ teams (since coops have all players on one team) should be without a timer. Coop games, Training Missions, Single-Player Campaign, and anything else you add.

Private Games should have the option.

If you really want timers in some missions, make it another type of challenge "beat it in 3 minutes (replay time doesn't count)"
