I know people have already suggested making player-customizable hotkeys, and i agree 110%. But until that happens can yall wip us up some please? I lost count of the times i've wanted to make an infantry and thought to myself "wow it's annoying to have to click on the base and all that. I wish i could just hit Ctrl+i and click a hex to place him"

So here's my request to add hotkey shortcuts to buy a unit. This will help us all shave a little time off our ever-ticking clocks and just be a little more fun and less hassle.
Some units like Recon can be ctrl+r, but others like LT might not be first letter of the name because ctrl and L are far apart, and also because AA and Arty are both A's and Heli and Heavy are both H's. But the fact remains that the game would be just that little bit more fun with unit-creation hotkeys

Since basic units are less than 10 maybe the numbers keys would be fine... following the casting menù order
I don't remember that order right now and can't check it since I'm at work, but it can be something like

1-inf
2-rec
3-AA
4-light

And so on... even easier than ctrl+ shortcuts

there would have to be a minor UI addition to help remind us then >.> Idk about you but i could only deal with that if there were 3 units. not 8. letters are easier to remember imo
