we allready talked about this during the beta and it looks like there are more and more complaints about the luck factor in sealed so i wanted to bring up the idea again

It is a great idea and we want it badly. I don't think luck is a real issue frankly. There is some, but if there were none it would be chess. The top players always seem to win.
However, draft is amazing for its fairness and fun. We will be adding it asap.

Draft sounds awesome! But I have a question, will you then know your opponents cards?

I feel dumb for asking, but what on earth is draft mode?

In a tournament, the number of players would be broken up into 4 player groups. Each player in each group would have 3 packs. Each player would open 1 pack, pick 1 card and pass the other 7 cards right. The packs would either circle and hte player would also pick the 5th card from the pack, or it could reverse and the player would get the 8th card from the pack. Assume a reverse;
Player 1 opens pack with: Light Tank Hero, Enlist Recon, No Fly, Lethal Artillery, Enlist 2 light tanks, marksman recon, last line of defense, tech heli.
Player 1 would pick first and might take -- Light Tank Hero Player 2 does not know what 1 took and he takes -- Enlisth 2 light tanks Player 3 takes No Fly Player 4 gets two picks and takes Enlist Recon, and Lethal Art Player 3 takes Tech Heli Player 2 takes marksman recon Player 1 takes last line
Simultenaoulsy, Player 2 opens a pack with Aviation Octane, Octane, Armor Art, Special Forces, Enlist Heavy, Enlist Art, Marksman Art, Heavy Merc
Player 2 picks first and takes -- SPecial forces Player 3 takes -- Enlist Art, etc, etc.
Every player ends up with 24 cards. However, since you are all picking from the same packs, there is a lot of skill in evaulating cards, evaluating what cards would be good in your deck, etc. The best card for your deck might not always be the best card (e.g. enlist art might be better than Air overhaul, but if you have a tech fighter with a repair and a squad leader, you might take the air overhaul, especially if you have a lot of enlists; enlist inf and recon may be better than adrenaline, but if you have enlists and no inf speed, you might pick the adrenaline). It is an EXTREMELY fun format. Doug, you will like it because it is more skill intensive and balances out sealed deck luck. Plus, the actual draft itself is very fun.

Once you see it in action, you will notice that it's really not complicated at all. Especially when the program takes care of it all for you. You will simply see a set of cards, pick one, see another set of cards (-1 in amount), pick one, and so forth.
I'm assuming there will be time limits on each pick. And if time expires, maybe they would get one of those cards at random, or something like that.
I'm really looking forward to it!

I've always loved drafts, so this sounds cool. Only one question... if every player ends with 24 cards, do you then select 12 among those 24 cards every time you start a new game in that tourney? The obvious answer is yes and that is what I'm assuming, but it wasn't clarified.

Yes to Doug's question. You have a time limit for each pick. If you time out you are giving the rarest card left at random (if mroe than 2 uncommons, or commons).
It is actually quite simple and very fun.
