 Post subject: Coop Mission 3

Okay, I had to make a forum for missions. fewar, hmpf, Novo, Bubbles and I played this 5 player mission today. What did everyone think? Our first strategy was to fly fighters behind the trees and attempt to buff them up, drop major arts to help clear out units, then destroy the headquarters. There are so many units to fight though. We were gradually clearing them out, but the CPU has so many control points. Next time we need a strategy for taking 1 or 2 control points to slow him down.

The coops are very interesting because there is so much communication in a 5 player game and there are 5 different decks and lots of coordination that has to happen. Someone (usually me) messes up, and it is very difficult once someone screws up. The more difficult missions require perfection.

We must have a coop mission section with maps so that we can plan this out, and we need to coordinate here so that we can try again when everyone is available :).

Either make the map smaller or give the CPU 4 CP's, not 5. That would make things much better imo

We didnt scout the map, so we dont really know what is on other cps. But if we actually go to take 2 cps, then we can go and take 3 and win it by cp :) .

It is very hard to coordinate 5 man mission and after launch even more. If you get 1 guy who doesnt know what he is doing you have no chance.

Almost all units are heroes. This doesnt leave you many options, as you cannot use debuffs ( this goes for all missions )

I dont think those missions should be that hard to finish. It should be much easier to finish. Than it can be harder to get silver or gold medal.

I think it might be better to try to take 3 cp's then. Even if we did manage to get to the base (we didn't), the HQ still has 2500 hp's. Plus we used all our major arts to clear out the "beach", we didn't have anything left to drop on all of the AA Heros surrounding the base.

Hmpf and Novo were doing a good job with their super planes and could easily take that CP and maybe the other one on the island with an airborne. Then surely 3 other people could focus on securing one more.

we didnt need major arty on the base, as we wanted to use arties and round base were only aa heroes, which would do no dmg. But yes, we need to try do it without base rush.

I want to try also second 5 man coop.

Base rush is very difficult as there are 5 AA Heroes on the way to the HQ and another 5 around the HQ.

A good way to save some money to get the cps would be to use troop transport+airlift1 on the infs and drop them on the cp instead of airborne.

It would be great to get some preview of the map without the fog of war.

well it is 70 gold for that, so it is not really better :) But if you have some buffed inf, it might be good.

Delta force fixed.

Starting gold lowered to 400.

Has anyone beaten this yet.

Lowered to 400? We couldnt do it with 700.

Also the starting units you spawn there should be spawned after submiting deck, so players can see them. This way players make their own units and those are not spawned.
