Well first of all you don't lose when the "president" dies.

Then those sand hexes that connect the islands are a total distraction since nothing can go past them (except air units of course).

Ice and me barely managed to get 2 cps which was on turn 15 or so and then simply submitted 25 times and won the game.
The CPU neither tries to take them back nor attacks the HQs.

And it would be neat to have 2 resources in close range, so each player gets a little money. Or just give us the 35g of the HQ.

The president dying works on the other map, I think this may have been an issue with the fact that you troop tranported and airlifted him. Putting him inside of the troop transport might have taken his "Presidential" properties away.

I think reduce the turn limit to 40 so that the caravan aspect is more important to cap the right side. Or make it harder to fly and airborne between islands.

I really enjoyed this mission a lot. Tweaking to require all 3 cp's to be capped would make it great.

If you want to forbid moving with fighters and airlifting, then dont make water hexes, just empty hexes. It might look wierd, but it will get the job done

Inferno and me just played this mission and it was bugged!
We almost got 2 cps when in turn 8 or 9 (don't remember exactly) the AA hero shot on its own HQ and the victory screen popped up....
No idea what happened there.

Fixed. One of the units you killed was marked as the president. The computer had a president too accidentlaly.
