I have purchased the BATTLE DEX starter deck, is it possible to get gold on all the missions with these cards and the ones you win or do you need to purchase extra packs.

Why do you need to get gold on all missions? There is no point

You won't be able to do gold on all of them. Gold on 1-7 should be possible though. But as fewar said there is no point in doing this. I only did gold on mission 1-7 because it took half an hour. Gold on 8,9 and 10 is much harder I think, but I haven't really tried it yet.

1-6 can be done on gold with no problem.
7 can be done on gold with a cheaty*** way
8 can be done on gold with a little strategy.(SPOILER:cap both cp on turn 3)
9-10 didnt even complete the regular way....yet!

8's so easy to do on gold, compared to silver/copper. The challenge is to COMPLETE it, not GOLD it

But can the missions be completed with the gold trophy, with just the starter deck and the cards you win, or do you need to buy more packs.
