Fewar, with 3 byes I think round 4 will be the finals. If we have 8 playing round 1, we will have 4 for round two plus 4 with 1 bye is 8. That will cut to 4 plus 2 with 2 byes for round 3 or 6, which would mean 3 left for finals plus 2 with 3 byes or 5 left. You might not even have to play to win.  Of course, if everyone with byes shows up and we have more than 8 playing round 1, it could be an extra round, but I dont think so.

EDIT: if there were 6 people in round than 4 of them get to next round ;) .So max in semifinals can be 5 people. If 3rd round was with 5 people it would look like this:
4th round: 5, 3rd round 5, 2nd round 5 , 1st round 1
So it is not possible.

I dont think many people will qualify for the medlay with current conditions.
