Changes

In team tournaments, if you kill an opponent, you don't get the 400 bonus gold. You still get 400 bonus gold in FFAs if you take out an opponent.

Balancing

Cost Changes

infantry training 40->35g
armored recon 90->80g
boot camp 70->60
evac3 20->10g
evac4 30->20g
full repair 120->115
lethal recon 100->95
recon hero 100->110g
tech aa 170->165g
tech artillery 200->195g
tech heavy tank 295->290g

Non Cost Changes

Minor Artillery damage range changed to 65-85 -- average damage is still the same, though the extremes are tighter.
Heli Hero Vision increased to 4 (cannot see hidden units)
Heavy Tank Hero ground vehicle damage increased from 105 per turn to 108 per turn.
Smoke 2 now gives 4 smoke canisters instead of 3

Fixes

fixed 2 heros exploit -- by putting infantry hero in a transport -- not really that useful, but . .
fixed moving smoke canisters

didnt yall promise us a big UI update "next patch" for the past 3 patches? I want my damn UI :(

as for this.. glad recon hero's costin more. I wish medic costed a little less
good patch i guess

Everyone is still using medic. So I think it is costed right now for constructed, though it is expensive to use on non armored guys.

I feel your pain on the UI -- believe -- actually, I'm pretty sure I am feeling more pain than you on that. It is taking longer than expected.

The 10 gold change on Recon hero does not change much. I think he is still awesome and will be used a LOT, which is fine. He is cool. At least now it will cost a little more to get a 7 vision infantry killing machine.

agreed with bubbles=)
and still no +40% armor on tech units seriously do that i really would like to see how that works.
and about the medic its just amazing on 40% armor infs. because they can just take soooo many hits
overall very nice patch and the hero nerf is a step into the right direction. but still no evac on immobilized units?

the 40% armor buff does not work at all. we had it at 30% in alpha and it was too much. It could be 25%maybe, but I think that would probably be too much too. The problem is that units stay alive with armor buffs and then get veteran and legend armor that builds on it.

Vision 7 is a lot, but it is what makes recon hero cool. I don't think we want to take out things that are different and recon hero is very different.

seriously chrism =/ Everyone that i've talked to agrees that 7 vision is OP. 6 should be enough.. especially on smaller maps

seriously though, why don't you think it's OP? Put that on some smaller maps, for example close quarters, and you can see the entire map almost..
