Congrats to Justice for winning the $2,000 ladder!! He beat me in 3 strange games. I won the sealed, though I thought he had better cards. He did a strange 2 heli strategy that failed miserabley. He said he though he could overwhelm my AAs with 2 Heli and 2 artillery blast. It did not work that way and he ignored the rest of the board.

In constructed he won two games. The first, he played heavy tank hero on Island Paradise and airlifted him all over the Board. I just could not kill him. It was really annoying. I alos made a mistake in deck constructed. I meant to take ariborne ranger but took airborne 2 by accident. That did not help me at all. It was a disaster.

In the second, he played artillery hero. Which should have cost him the game, because I killed it and it is not very good on Oasis. However, he made a gutsy play with a camo infantry that I did not know was there. I was not expecting camo. Camo is soo good when you are not expecting it. He entered the resource I vacated with a tech infantry. If I didn't leave the resource he was dead. I guess it was a good bet I would leave. That cost me the game. It did not help that he somehow weaved that camo guy through my entire base to my home resource. I still don't know how he did it. Great playing Justice and too many mistakes by me.

So did I win anything on that tourney, or was I worse of than 2nd and 3rd? At least 100 points, no?

Qualification is worse than 100 or 50 point, I'd trade qualification for 100 or 50 points, in qualification I can always lose and get less.

Look, it's just stupid that any tourney qualifies for the $500 tourney, yet I win a "special" tourney that has prizes for the 2nd and 3rd, but, in pratice, NOTHING for 1st.

Don't you see it's not logical at all?

I didnt know the prizes when I was playing, I would have lost on purpose if I knew them. It makes no sense that 1st place is worse than 2nd or 3rd. It makes no sense that I can state here, that I would GLADLY exchange my first place for the second place.

i bet if asfa had won, he wouldve gotten 300 points, because he's THAT lucky :)

Well I'll say it here: I WOULD GLADLY EXCHANGE MY 1ST PLACE WITH SECOND PLACE.

Now what does that tell you? Is it fair that a 1st place is worse than a 2nd?

And yes, it IS incredible, he actually had luck that he lost, because 2nd place was better than 1st. Unless, of course, he did it on purpose.
