Sunday Sept 6, 10am CST -- Amateur Championship -- Super Sealed
1st Place -- 25 Points and 30 Packs
2ns Place -- 20 Packs
3rd Place -- 15 Packs
4th Place -- 10 Packs
All players will win 5 packs plus the 5 packs that are used to make your deck.
You can participate if you have not won any cash or have won 100 points or less.

so, since the wipe has been pushed back to the other side of this tourney, i vote the packs for prizes be given after the wipe :D

i sure hope not, 30 packs is a lot....
would be better if it is reduce to around 5-10 if its going to be given after the wipe...
besides, there ain't that many amateurs around at this time....
well.. i can complain, cause i am a newbie :)
*imagine if i got those 30 packs..... i sell/trade extra to many newbies for even better cards after the wipe :P*

Mythos whooped my butt in the first round. I thought i had it cuz by turn 4 i had all 3 of the non-base resources and he wasnt sending any infs, but having an AA, a fighter, and 2 arties in the middle of Island Paradise.. no stoppin that

At first I thought it was unfair that Schlumpfi was in the amateur tournament. Turns out he lost in round 1 to a noob.

don't say that ice9 = = i am a growing 'player'... you lost to me too even though it was just a friendly sealed 1v1.
besides even if we don't blame the cards.. no one can win forever
i know that cause i have like 30+ lose and 4-5 wins (at least i win against good players.. makes me happy to keep trying)
