After a long wait, the July premium card should go live tomorrow. We would like to apologize for the huge delay -- the devs all have full-time jobs aside from working on BattleDex and are also working hard on something else I can't mention, however that's still no excuse. We discussed it and have made a new rule that we will always put a premium card in the server one week in advance so it will be ready on time each month. So this should be the end of delayed Premium Cards. Again thougj, I would like to apologize for the delay and any issues we may have caused.

To make it up to y'all, post here and I'll put an extra 2 packs on your account :)

But as for this month's premium's details: it is similar to the card Bazuka
Name: Hellfire
Range: 3
Cost: 60g
Allows one friendly air unit to fire on an enemy mechanical ground unit, dealing 100 damage. (the description is temporary, but that's a brief overview of the effect)

Thanks Bubbles, sounds like a good card to get rid of those pesky AA's :-)

That's actually the very first thing that dagnor mentioned to me when he told me about it yesterday ;) However, Chris pointed out that Major/Minor artillery are similar, so we should see some interesting strategies for this card vs the artilleries and which is better for what.

EDIT: added your 2 free packs ^^

This definitely helps air which definitely needed a little power boost. While in some circumstances it is beneficial to use minor artillery on an AA, unless it is an AA hero it is usually much better used on a vehicle(s) that costs more, such as a buffed artillery. The cost of minor artillery (100g + card) is not usually worth using on an AA (100g without card) especially since an AA has more health than the card alone will do. This new premium card is much more worthwhile for the AA.

Oh, and my two free packs... =)

Good points! I never could understand how you, Roth, Solid, etc could analyze this game so well :P I'll always be the group scrub when it comes to this game

Nice card. Two issues:
- It is not in my card list on the hp.
- In the client the description says "permanent" where other cards have their duration. Maybe you want to change this (as well as on other cards, like minor, major, nuke e.g.) to "duration:1 turn", as it is an one-time effect, and in fact you can't select a ground vehicle to shoot on with the fighter permanently ;)

Is it in your inventory in the client?
As for the second half of what you said... are you further detailing why it shouldnt be permanent or are you describing a bug?

I got it in the client, just on the web page the card is missing.

To the second topic: I think this is not a permanent effect. So so text on the card should not be permanent. Cards like camo or bino or some other buffs are permanent. They do the same effect in every round from when the card was played. But the hllfire only does the effect once. So it is not really a permanent card i think. On the other hand the 100 damage remain permanent. So it was just a clue to think about. Maybe you will write "one time effect" or sth. like that instead of permanent.
But anyways it's not such a big issue, so maybe you will consider thinking about it, after the really important things are done :=)

Yeah, adding "one-time effect" would probably be the best solution for cards like this. However we're working on a lot of big changes right now (some mentioned in another thread, some I'm waiting to surprise yall :P) so this kind of stuff can wait until the major updates are finished
