Ive been working on my own game lately, which has sparked a lot of memories for some of my favorite games and series(es?) I've played! If I had to make a list, my top 5 would have to be:

1. Mario (my first game ever, got me into games in the first place and therefore into the industry <3 Will always be at the top of my list)
2. Portal
3. Dead Space
4. Bioshock
5. Darksiders

Portal, Dead Space, and Bioshock are all tied for 2nd really, but if I had to order them out, I guess that'd be my list. What are your favorites?

All are series: Half life, Baldurs gate, Fallout (first 2), Heroes of Might and Magic, Civilization. (not ordered) Bonus: Battle dex.

From your list I played only Portal, which was great game, but very short to count it into my top games. I started also Bioshock, but it wasnt for me.

portal 1 was a demo as far as i know, but when they saw how popular it was, they made portal 2 which was a full-fledged game. It's fairly lengthy and has even more content with Coop and DLC, and it actually does a lot story-wise too. It's definitely worth getting

Dead Space is a survival horror thirdperson shooter. It's "scary" in the same way that Aliens (movie) is scary -- stuff jumping out at you and what not, not necessarily scary scary (if that makes any sense)

Darksiders had its faults but overall it was a great game and Darksiders 2 is going to expand upon it in every way. It's actually more than 4x longer than Darksiders 1, which wasn't a short game to begin with hehe. And coincidentally, dagnor actually worked on the first one a little bit if i remember correctly

YOUVE NEVER PLAYED A MARIO GAME?!?!?!!?!

I am PC gamer, what Mario game was I supposed to play? Portal 2 was longer yes, but it was getting boring even when it wasnt that long. And I havent played coop, I hate when they give coop to single player games

I meant that there are no PC Mario games, not that you should name all of them I never owned any nintento console.

well, theres usb-ended controllers! Even one with an NES controller Emulators
But you really are missing out. I dont like the direction Nintendo (and the whole industry) is going where they care more about family life than making games, but pretty much anything by Shigeru Miyamoto is guaranteed to be amazing and well worth the money, plus no one can deny the fact that Nintendo really cares about its customers
