From Battle Dex
Installing the Map Editor
First, download the map editor:
Once you have downloaded the editor, put Editor.exe in the directory where you installed Battle Dex. For instance, in your battle dex directory c:\program files\battle dex or wherever you have installed it.
Map Editor Keys
Here are some keys you need to know to operate it.
| Key | What it Does |

| W | Pan Up |
| S | Pan Down |
| A | Pan Left |
| D | Pan Right |
| + | Zoom In |
| - | Zoom Out |
| Spacebar | puts you in brush mode, then click to place tile |
| E | Editing Mode |
| B | Brush Mode |
| Esc | Exit mode |
| Up Arrow | Increase Elevation of Hex |
| Down Arrow | Decrease Elevation of Hex |
| Left Arrow | Rotate Hex Counterclockwise |
| Right Arrow | Rotate Hex Clockwise |
| R | Place resource |
| H | Place headquarters |
| C | Place control point |
| Delete | remove hex |
| M | Overhead view |
esc, then clicking on hq allows you to toggle starting hexes for that hq
